Built by someone who actually uses it
No call centre and no boardroom deciding what tradies need. I started Yamate on my own in Australia, and there's a team behind me now.
Why Yamate exists
I kept hearing the same thing from tradies: quoting, invoicing and chasing payments meant juggling three or four apps that didn't talk to each other, or a shoebox of paper.
Yamate is built for the one- and two-person trade business first — quote a job on site, send a proper GST invoice, and let Yamate chase unpaid invoices by text. Flat rate for you and a couple of hands, and the quoting and invoicing work with no signal. Grown past that? There's a Company plan with a login each.
Every feature exists because a real tradie asked for it or hit a real problem without it. If something's broken or missing, you're not filing a ticket into a queue — you're telling the person who can actually fix it.
I built the first version on my own. There's a team behind me now, and I'm still the one you get on the phone.
