What a concreter should assess
Show the business where each crack is, whether it has changed, and whether adjoining slabs move or water pools. Ask it to examine joints, ground support, drainage and traffic loads before recommending a repair.

Old Concrete Surface Is Cracked and Ugly — Who Do I Call?
A worn surface may need cleaning, local repair or a new decorative finish, but a surface coating will not fix active movement below. Ask the concreter to separate structural or drainage work from cosmetic resurfacing.
If the driveway is lifting, sinking or breaking into pieces, request a replacement option and ask how the existing surface will be removed and disposed of. Do not pick stamped concrete or liquid limestone as a presumed repair without a site assessment.

Ask each business for the crack treatment, surface preparation, finish, joints, drainage work, curing, exclusions and GST. Make sure you know whether the quote covers the whole driveway or selected patches.
