Yamate is admin software to help solo tradies quote, invoice, chase payments and keep track of jobs. It's provided as-is while in pilot — it's genuinely useful, but new and improving.
Don't use Yamate for anything unlawful, to send spam, or to misuse the SMS/messaging features. Don't copy, resell or redistribute the software.
“Included” and “unlimited” features are for normal solo-tradie business use. Customer texts and AI quote drafting are included on a fair-use basis — ordinary day-to-day business volumes, not bulk marketing, automated blasting, reselling messages, or use far beyond what a typical one-person trade business sends. To keep the flat price sustainable, we may introduce reasonable usage limits or at-cost charges on these features to prevent abuse or to avoid running at a loss. If we do, we will give you notice first, any limits will be reasonable, and your Founder price stays locked — a fair-use limit is about volume, never a price rise.
Texting your customers. When you send messages to your customers through Yamate, you are responsible for having their consent to be contacted and for complying with the Spam Act 2003. We give you the tools (opt-in capture and an unsubscribe/STOP handler); the relationship with your customer is yours.
Yamate helps you stay on top of admin, but it doesn't replace an accountant or BAS agent. GST/EOFY figures are summaries to hand to your accountant — check them. AI-drafted quotes are a starting point — you set the final price. We aren't liable for losses from relying on the app; please double-check anything important.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded. Where we are able to limit our liability, we limit it — to the extent the law permits — to re-supplying the service or refunding the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Tax & safety features. Yamate is software, not a professional adviser. It is not a registered tax or BAS agent and does not prepare or lodge anything — GST/BAS/EOFY figures are summaries for you and your accountant to check. Compliance and SWMS features are starting-point drafts you must review, complete and take responsibility for; they are general information, not legal, safety or professional advice. Confirm anything important with your accountant, your regulator or a suitable professional.
We may update these terms as Yamate grows; we'll note the date at the top. If we make a change that materially affects you, we will give you reasonable notice (in-app or by email) before it takes effect, and you are free to cancel before then if you do not agree. Continuing to use Yamate after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
The promotion. One subscriber will win $500 AUD, drawn at random from the first 100 paid Yamate subscriptions. Entry is automatic: start a paid Yamate plan (currently $19/month — the normal price, no extra cost to enter) and you're in while spots remain. Free trials and the demo don't count until they become a paid plan.
The draw. The draw happens within 7 days of the 100th paid subscription starting, and the winner is announced once they've accepted. If 100 paid subscriptions haven't been reached by 30 June 2027, the draw happens then instead, among everyone entered — either way, someone wins. To stay entered, your subscription must be active (not cancelled or unpaid) at the time of the draw. The winner is selected at random from the eligible list, contacted by email/text, and paid $500 by bank transfer or PayID within 14 days of accepting. If a winner can't be reached within 14 days of the draw, a redraw follows.
The fine print. One entry per person/business (ABN). Yamate's founder, staff and test accounts are excluded. We'll only announce your name/trade publicly with your consent. Open to Australian residents with an Australian-billed subscription. Not transferable, no cash alternative to the stated prize (it is cash). The promoter is Yamate (contact below). Total prize value $500 — under every state and territory trade-promotion permit threshold, so no permits are required; where a jurisdiction's conditions apply, this promotion follows them.
